Home: Welcome

At the beginning of the trimester, we were tasked with brainstorming our project with a group. After getting idea's from everyone in my group, I started pulling my project together. I had many ideas, but in the end, I came out with three diagrams to show my work.

Prototype 1

The images of the drawings below are basically region-based improvements on houses. The first one is a drawing of a Cebu, Phililipine apartment complex. In the drawing, I circled a place where I would put stronger steel beams, H-beams, and reinforced steel window screens you can take off. The second image is a drawing of an interior of a New Orleans house. I made an improvement to install floor drains under wood floors to drain flood water. The last one is a drawn image of a bunker under an improved Indonesian house with steel outside and holes for breathing.

Conclusions and Final Thoughts

After being reviewed I had three big things to think about. What would potential costs and materials look like? Where would you get the money for this project? and what is the most important thing to make people believe in your project? Theses questions were going to help me towards narrowing down what my project would be.
